Hier erfährst Du mehr über SellaBand, eine Webseite die Musiker "ohne Vertrag" die Möglichkeit bietet, eine CD professionell aufzunehmen. Dazu laden die Musiker ihre Musik auf ihr Profil, wo sie von den Besuchern der Webseite gehört werden können. Diejenigen, die gut finden was sie hören, können dann ein oder mehrere Anteile (sogenannte Parts) in Wert von jeweils US $ 10 (+ Transaktionskosten) kaufen und so ihr "Glaube" an den Musiker bekunden. Wenn ein Musiker 5000 Anteile "verkauft" und damit das Ziel von US $ 50.000 erreicht hat, geht er mit professionelle Unterstützung in ein Studio und macht eine CD. Alle "Teilhaber" (sogenannte Believer) bekommen (pro Anteil) eine limitierte numerierten CD zu sich nach Hause geschickt.

Neben Fragen und Antworten zum Thema SellaBand, dient diese Seite in erster Linie zur gewissen Faulheit des Erstellers, Wyando. Dazu gehören Übersichtslisten der Musiker, die er mag, sowie Statistiken bezüglich deren erreichten Ziele ab 10K. Nach und nach werden einige Musikern hier auf der Webseite eine eigene Seite bekommen, zwecks Promotion und Unterstützung. Nebenbei gibt es noch eine Art immer unvollständige Freundesliste, damit er diese einfach und schnell erreichen kann, aber insbesondere, weil er damit auf einfache weise die Musik anhören kann, die sie mögen.

Ansonsten wird es dann noch ein paar Info's zu Musik geben, die er sonst noch mag, sowie die Konzerte/Gigs, die er besucht hat.

This site will try to get some information about SellaBand in German: What it is, how it works, FAQs, etc. As this information is already on SellaBand in English, there will be no translation for those specific pages.
Therefor this first paragraph is no translation from the German equivalent.

But, besides question and answers about SellaBand (in German), this site exists mostly due of the laziness of its creator Wyando. This contains overview lists for the artists he likes, as also some statistics about their milestones (for those already reached 10K). Little by little, some artists will get a special page over here to promote and support them. By the way there also exists an always incomplete friends list, so he can reach them quick and easy, but also because he has an easy access to the music they like.

There also will be some information about other music he also likes, as also the gigs/concerts he has attended.

Although the overall language of this website will be German, mostly you'll find a translation in English (and sometimes even in Dutch ;) - as long as you have Javascript enabled. By using www.externalprofile.com you will be served with the English translations first (as fas as they exists). Choose www.externalprofile.de to see the German text first.
